30 Years of Crew: A Month of Celebrations
Salcombe, a coastal town in South Devon, was where our story first began. With its blue waters and pretty streets, this picturesque shoreside spot was the perfect place to celebrate our third decade.
Crew turns thirty
We invited some of our very best customers, friends of the brand and a couple of VIP guests to join us down in Salcombe at the Harbour Beach Club.
Situated on Salcombe’s stunning South Sands Beach, the Resort only needed a couple of Crew touches before the event began…
It wouldn’t be a birthday without gifts, so we left a little something for our guests in each of the rooms: a bottle of Salcombe Gin, a bar of delicious Salcombe Dairy chocolate, and a piece from our brand-new Anniversary Collection.
Our best customers couldn’t miss the opportunity to visit our hometown store. We stopped off at the newly renovated Salcombe store, where guests browsed our new collection with a glass of bubbles – it’s a celebration, after all.
Our guests enjoyed a taste of Salcombe for themselves with an expert tasting experience, hosted by Angus, co-founder and friend of Crew. After sampling a refreshing glass or two, we hopped on the South Sands ferry back to Harbour Beach Club.
Dressed in their Crew finery, our guests were greeted with canapes and Champagne, before joining Georgina, our brand director, in a toast to the occasion. Everyone was very excited to see our founder – and guest of honour – Alistair Parker-Swift in attendance.
To round off the night, guests headed out onto the terrace for one final surprise: a spectacular fireworks display. Here’s to celebrating 30 years with a bang.

Why stop at one birthday party when you can have a hundred?
We extended our birthday festivities nationwide, throwing in-store parties over the last May bank holiday weekend. Customers who RSVP-ed beforehand received an exclusive free gift, and we marked the occasion with cake and fizz.
Thank you to everyone who celebrated reaching this milestone with us. It’s been a birthday month to remember, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
