A Travel Guide to Ibiza

27 May 2025

What to Do

The beach is the first priority on most people’s lists when visiting Ibiza, but which to choose from? With so many on offer, it can be tricky to decide where to lay your beach towel, but our vote goes to Cala Comte. Azure waters and sand dunes await you here, and it’s also home to Sunset Ashram – the perfect spot for sunset drinks. Another option is the pretty Cala Gracioneta, a smaller, more peaceful spot which is home to Gracioneta Chiringuito, another great restaurant.

When you need a break from the sand and surf (if that’s possible!), don’t miss the chance to explore the winding streets of Ibiza’s Old Town. It’s a UNESCO world heritage site, offering panoramic views of the ocean, and with hidden gems around every corner, there’s something for everyone here.

End your day experiencing one of Ibiza’s epic sunsets. Choose your spot wisely – we love Es Vedrá or Benirrás for the best views.

Where to Eat

When in Spain, indulging in world-class tapas is compulsory. Local favourite La Bodega is one of our most-recommended spots, offering delicious tapas in a lively, vibrant setting. For dinner and a show, La Olivia is a great option. The electric atmosphere of surrounding Dalt Vila stands this restaurant apart from the rest, with live music, street performers and artists only a few steps away from your table. Try their deliciously fresh seafood – we know you won’t regret it.

Away from the Old Town, give Amante Ibiza a try. Perched on a cliff above the secluded cove of Sol d’en Serra, this restaurant offers delectable food and cocktails. The menu is modern Mediterranean and Spanish-inspired, with rice dishes and salads on offer. As tasty as the menu is, the setting steals the show here: it’s the breathtaking view that makes this spot a must-visit on our list.

Where to Stay

Holiday in style with a stay at the gorgeous Cubanito hotel. Designed in vintage Cuban style, this charming hotel is effortlessly stylish. After a busy day of beach hopping and exploring the Old Town, comfort is key. Luckily, Cubanito’s spacious, colourful suites are more than equipped to provide you with a good night’s sleep.

The chequerboard-decked pool is the perfect spot to soak up some rays, with DJs keeping you entertained with laidback Cuban beats. Be sure to take full advantage of the Malecón rooftop bar, too. There’s live Cuban music and salsa classes, with bartenders whipping up mojitos reading for sipping on as the sun slips into the ocean.
