CADBURY'S EASTER TRAIL AT TREASURER'S HOUSE
1st and 2nd April 2018
Easter falls early this year, giving us the perfect excuse to gather our little ones and hunt down some tasty treats in the historic Treasurer’s House in York. In fact, three year champion of Yorkshire in Bloom, the garden is a treat in itself. It might not be quite as tranquil as normal on this particular day, but we’re sure the trail of chocolatey goodness will make up for it.
LONDON MARATHON
15th March - 22nd April 2018
One worth visiting London for. Whether you’re supporting a runner or simply going along for the ride, there’s no better way to start your Sunday than to the sound of thousands of pairs of trainers pounding the capital’s streets. Outfits range from simple lycra getups to the outright outlandish, with the Mona Lisa, a life-size fridge and a large tree all crossing the finish line last year. We can only dream of what this year will produce.
EAST ANGLIAN GAME AND COUNTRY FAIR

Promising to be a memorable weekend for all the family, you can even bring along your own four legged friend. What’s not to love?
APRIL RECIPE
GINGER, SPRING, VEGETABLE AND NOODLE BROTH
There’s something about April that has us all hankering after a tasty broth with plenty of greenery. This fragrant and sweet flavoured creation hails from Mildreds restaurant and we think it’s just the ticket. A prevalent name on the vegetarian circuit, their new book brings together a vibrant collection of their most popular vegan dishes. Perfect if you’re entertaining the multitudes, boil up a large batch for a wonderfully light but satisfying lunch.
