Padstow Chest Stripe Sweatshirt

I bought this sweatshirt along with one in red, two pairs of shorts (navy and beige) and two t shirts (white and navy) for my 9yr old grandson. All the items came up very small, I usually buy age 7-8 yrs and have no problem with items fitting, however, I opted for larger sizes in your brand as I wanted him to have some growing room particularly in the Sweatshirts. Was so disappointed, the sweatshirts just fit, however, they were so snug that he couldn't get the thin cotton t shirts on underneath and there was so little room in the shirts it was a struggle getting them on and off. Tried all items on to make sure it wasn't just an odd size in one item. Would have exchanged for a larger size but you only do up to age 9-10 which actually is more like an age 7-8 elsewhere. Really disappointed.

When buying online, there is no warning anywhere that this garment cannot be tumble dried. Line 5 on the back of the label inside the sweatshirt says Do not tumble dry. I am very surprised that a brand like Crew produces a 100% kids cotton sweatshirt which has to be line dried - very impractical for busy mothers of small children. The garment was small for size when new - a just-turned-3 year old struggled to put on a 3-4 year size and it is now useless having shrunk so much his 19-month brother cannot get it on.

These look so stunning on my three boys, I buy Crew Clothing items frequently for them so I knew the sizing came up small so sized up like I normally do. However after a couple of washes (according to label instructions) they've shrunk several sizes. My average sized 5 year old now fits the 9-10 size and his fits his two year old brother! Crew please please sort your sizing out.
