"Damaged Item And Little Small"

Ordered a medium and when arrived there was a pull in the thread above right chest - was also a little tight across the chest when tried for size. Returned the item noting the damage and requested a large but have been notified that a refund has been given. May be a misunderstanding?? Have now ordered a large as the shirt was really nice - hopefully will be a good fit.

How was the sizing? Too small
