"Material Is A Cotton Polyester Mix"

I have been purchasing Crews loungewear products since they were introduced finding them comfortable, functional and warm. When I saw this new shirt sleeve top I ordered a few, but looking at the label noticed that crew have opted to go from 100 % cotton to a cotton polyester mix, why change? Polyester makes you sweat and this garment spends more time being laundered. And on that note, this top unlike the original (which could be washed at 40 degrees) has to be washed on a 30 degree delicate cycle. Crews competitors are pushing for more natural environmentally friendly fibres, whereas Crew have gone the other way.
