The Wimbledon Archives – Get the Looks
27 June 2025
Cue the strawberries and cream, Wimbledon is almost here, and we can’t wait to get a glimpse of this year’s fashion fits. From royalty to on-screen royalty, runway stars and everyone else in-between, over the years there’s been countless iconic looks donned by famous faces. We took a delve into the Wimbledon archives and found a few of our favourite outfits, as well as how you can get the looks for yourself.
Her royal highness is no stranger to the style limelight, making it no surprise that her Wimbledon looks are awed. Year after year, the All England Lawn Tennis patron doesn’t fail to make a statement, always looking polished, refined and elegant. Seen here in 2022 wearing a timeless navy and white polka dot midi dress, it’s as sophisticated as it comes. If you’re after something similar to Kate, our Henley Flutter Sleeve Dress in polka dot is the way to go. Flattering, comfortable and perfect for a day spent spectating.
Pheobe Dynevor - Summer Stripes
Bridgerton actress, Pheobe Dynevor, attended 2023’s Wimbledon wearing our favourite pattern – you guessed it, stripes. The pretty two-piece, detailed with blue and white pinstripes, waist belt and a matching strappy cami-style top, looked effortlessly chic. A fresh take on the nautical, we love her style by pairing with simple accessories. But why not add a pop of red for all-out coastal vibes - we’ve paired our red Ballerina Flats with our Dara Stripe Skirt – a worthy comparison to Pheobe’s if you want to get the look.
Jourdan Dunn – Wimbledon Whites
Model and actress, Jourdan Dunn, opted for the traditional ‘Wimbledon Whites’ when she attended the tournament back in 2019. Stemming from the start of Wimbledon in the late 1800s, the long-standing tradition for players to wear white has since been a style choice for spectators, too. Sporting a classic midi shirt dress with broderie detailing, we couldn’t help but compare it to our Henley Broderie Shirt Dress. Elegant yet versatile, pair with trainers for a more casual spin like Jourdan, or equally heeled espadrilles would look the part for a spot of tennis.
Pippa Middleton – Floral Fever
If anyone knows how to adorn a floral number, it’s Pippa Middleton. With her being a huge tennis fan since childhood, we’re used to seeing her arrive at Wimbledon over the years dressed in stunning ensembles. Her 2024 championship dress was no exception, with its ribbon-like tie belt, caped detailing and feminine painterly print, she went straight to the top of our list for style points. Thinking of recreating Pippa’s look this year? We’ve got just the piece – our Ella Tea Dress. It’s delicate silhouette and pretty ditsy pattern is perfect for summer events just like the tennis. We’ve paired it with a simple clutch like Pippa and flat sandals – so you can comfortably get up and down to top up the Pimm’s all-day long…
