Polo Bar: What You Missed
28 August 2019
And just like that, our Polo Bar tour is over for another year. Over the last couple of months we’ve been pitching up across the country, personalising polo shirts galore.
Maybe you caught us courtside at the Fever-Tree Championships at The Queen’s Club, or perhaps you popped by in Portsmouth? Even if you didn’t quite manage to make it this year, we’ve rounded up our favourite moments from the tour, so you can still get a taste of the action.
As the official outfitters of the LTA, three prestigious tennis tournaments were the first stops on our Polo Bar tour, and we served up hundreds of personalised polos at the Fever-Tree Championships at The Queen’s Club and the Nature Valley tournaments in Birmingham and Eastbourne. 1,441 polos embroidered
Our tour was all about getting personal, giving you the chance to put your own stamp on our iconic piqué polos. Six embroidery machines and hundreds of initials later, and 1441 of you are now the proud owners of a polo shirt that is truly original.
68 polos won
Inspired by our hometown of Salcombe, our mini golf experience challenged visitors to take a swing at winning their personalised polo free of charge. 68 lucky golfers putted a hole in one, and each took home their trophy in style.
494 POPS ice lollies enjoyed
Anyone for Pimm’s? A Pimm’s ice lolly, that is. 494 visitors to the Polo Bar enjoyed delicious frozen treats while their polo was embroidered, courtesy of our friends over at POPS. With flavours like champagne or strawberry and mint, the hardest part was choosing a favourite
