Boat Shoe in Soft Gold

My issue with shoes from Crew is that, strangely, they don't always feel or fit like a matched pair. With these, the right was a perfect fit, but the left seemed to be cut differently and gaped at the sides. Not only did this look awful, but as soon as I started to walk, the shoe felt as if it was falling off - and eventually did after a few steps. With traditional deck shoes, I could have tried tightening the laces, but, on these shoes, the laces are purely decorative and don't actually function.I don't have this problem with any other brand and can normally buy shoes very easily, so I don't think I have feet which are difficult to fit, but I often have to return Crew styles. It's so unfortunate, as I really loved the deck shoes, but, sadly, I will have to return them.
