Salcombe Gin Voyager Series 'Daring'

A limited-edition gin from our friends at Salcombe Gin. This release has been developed in collaboration with world-renowned Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth. Created to mimic the flavours of his signature dish ‘A Tale of Porthilly’, it has been distilled with whey and foraged Cornish botanicals, showcasing the spirit of the wild Cornish coast.

It’s rich and buttery on the nose, balanced with fresh, fragrant fennel, seashore herbs and warming allspice. On the palate it has a soft, velvety mouthfeel with sweet liquorice and zesty flavours of fresh lime and blood orange. There are subtle underlying umami notes from oyster leaf balanced with earthy angelica. The finish is smooth with great depth and length, a lingering citrus tang and warmth of green cardamon and anise.

It’s best over plenty of ice with a premium Indian tonic water and garnished with thin slices of apple or in the ‘Who Dares Wins’ cocktail – recipe included in the box. The white glass bottle has a bespoke debossed copper stopper and it comes in a presentation box.
