Lookbook: spring outfits for women
10 March 2022
The great wardrobe refresh starts here.
Cherry blossom falling at your feet, Easter eggs back in the shops and finally, the return of lighter evenings… suddenly all we can think about is switching out of our chunky knits. Keep scrolling to read our guide on what to wear this season, with spring outfits for women that’ll see you through diary-filled days and weekend getaways alike. You bring the captions, we’ll bring the Instagram-worthy looks.
These prints and patterns are singing the tune of spring – from hand-drawn ditsy blooms to charming checks and so-now stripes. No matter how you wear them, these design signatures are synonymous with warmer weather.
Layer, layer, layer
Okay, we might not be dropping all our jumpers just yet but you’ve got to start somewhere. Tucked, buttoned or pulled on, doubling up is the best way to keep that fresh coastal breeze at bay. Looking for a cold spring outfit? Add this light puffer in Riviera blue to basket and consider it done.
Pick your pastels
It wouldn’t be a spring outfit without pastels. Soft shades of sky blue, sunshine yellow and lilac plucked straight from the lavender field. If these cheery colours aren’t enough to spark a weekend break, we don’t know what is.
Keeping things neutral
With the return of all that glorious sunshine comes the perfect excuse to bring back out our wardrobe favourite: white jeans. Notoriously tricky to style, they’re best paired with a calming array of cool tones and natural shades. Build on the palette through layers of texture.
Count them off…
1. For shoes, keep things relaxed by throwing on some slick white trainers. Not only will they go with all your casual spring outfits but they’ll be super comfortable too.
2. A classic crossover bag is an all-rounder that won’t let you down. Take all your daily necessities with you in Penelope and you’ll be sure not to forget a thing.
3. Lastly, round your look off with a baseball cap – the season’s most stylish accessory.
